File a Patent Extension from China in Macau
Requirements & Timeline
To file an extension of a Patent from China, the following information and documentation will be needed:
1. Applicant – name, nationality, address and commercial nature (commercial, industrial or other)
2. Inventor – name, nationality and address of the inventor
3. Abstract of the invention with a summary description (not more than 150 words or 400 characters)
4. Description of invention patent
5. Claims on what is considered the novelty and on the characteristics of the invention
7. Power of attorney notarized – blank sample that should be filled in order to give us permission to represent you before the Macau Economy Services (it is required to submit one Power of Attorney per application, original or certified true copy)
8. SIPO Document – certified copy of extension document of the State Intellectual Property Office confirming either the publication or the grant of the application
